Devaluation Again!
50K Monthly cap for Apay gift card to Apay balance.

New limit imposed on how much gift card balance we can add per account per month from all sources. Three months back in July, 2025 I myself have added more than 50k gift card in amazon pay balance without difficulty.

Details below.

1. These terms and conditions apply to Amazon Pay Gift Cards (Gift Cards) issued by Pine Labs Private Limited (Pine Labs) under the Brand Name of Qwikcilver and co-branded with Amazon Pay (India) Private Limited (Amazon Pay). Pine Labs is a private limited company organized under the laws of India and is the issuer of the Gift Cards. You may purchase Gift Cards through various options available on www.amazon.in corresponding mobile site and mobile application ("Amazon.in"), and also use Gift Cards provided to you by third parties in the manner provided hereunder. By purchasing or using a Gift Card, you are agreeing to and accept these terms and conditions.

2. A customer can add a maximum of INR 50,000 of Amazon Pay Gift cards in a calendar month.

3. The Add Gift Card to balance limit includes purchases from all sources.

4. Amazon reserves the right to modify this (Add Gift Card to balance) limit at any point of time.

5. ‘Add Gift Card to balance Limitresets at the beginning of each calendar month; a customer can resume adding Gift Card after this reset.

6. Amazon reserves the right to offer exceptions to the monthly claim limit based on specific corporate use cases.

This is for Pine Labs issued gift cards!

I deleted all emails - Infinia and EPM are from Pine Labs?? If this is the case, I will have to open one more Amazon account :-(
I think all are from Pine Labs only.

But I too have a doubt. I think the cashback they provide on purchasing a product, or gift card from Apay-icici card cashback, or the return amount we take as apay gift card where we do not add them manually are possibly excluded from this limit.

I think these rule applies only for mannual addition of apay gift cards by customer themselves.

For KYC customer, I think it was 2L.
Isn't that cash balance? I don't believe there's a cap on gift cards.
I think there was no official statement about limit earlier. But yes, I have also heard someone citing customer care stated it was between 2L - 5L. Likely 2L.

That has been reduced drastically to 50k.

Edit:
Note: this is monthly limit. As of now I can't find overall/ maximum holding limit.

No, the ₹50k limit is to the amount you can add in a month. Your quote is regarding maximum balance that can be maintained in the wallet. For example, without KYC you can only have a maximum of ₹10k cash balance at any time.
My earlier msg was about gift card balance overall limit and not wallet limit.

I think this is what you are looking for.
5L per month. 2L at any given point, earlier it was 1L.

Yes, sorry, I meant to say gift card balance. What I meant was that we were discussing the maximum gift card balance one could have and not the maximum gift card balance one could add in a month.

This new ₹50k limit is for adding to balance. I don't see any terms capping the maximum gift card balance one could have.

Yes. Same.
Edited my previous comment for clarity. Thanks.

There is no official statement on that.
