Accor dining devaluation?

I have burned my Accor points in the past for food with a valuation of 1 Accor Point = ~1.8 INR (2000 points = 40 EUR).

However, since the past 2 times, the restaurant forces to burn points using the app option (i.e. to burn points against table number) and the realisation has measurably fallen to 1 accor point = 0.93 INR!

Am I missing something here?

You need to tell the restaurant to add the food bill to your room bill and pay everything on checking out.

Yes. If you are only dining then you get value of approx. 92-93p type only. Only if you club your dining bill with stay, then you are eligible for Rs 1.8 type conversion rate.

3) Are the breakfast lunch and dinner prices inflated?

1. Depends on your staying patterns. If u have more stays planned and can combine with food then 1.85. If u have lots of points and just want to burn instead of cash use at 95p

Have u got 40% of 50% before in cash before. Generally they don’t allow combining vouchers of Accor plus. It’s new to me. So u saying buffet 1499 + 1499 get it for 1499 and pay 40% of that using Accor plus voucher .?

No I haven't tried it but because I recently became Accor Plus.
I think if you use the 40% discount coupon for a group of 4
Or 50% discount coupon for a large group;
then you can pay the balance amount with points and not get any more discount

Yes in accor if we take dinner or lunch without staying its almost double loss
With one experience i stopped accor for buffet and always using itc
Ibis novotel are economical stays

U can use member for the day to assign some family member a 50% coupon.(read online not tried)

Dineout or Eazydiner payments have to be made with real money and not using Accor points
