Accor Non refundable booking (Int) - Cancellation charges ? Got less rate for same dates

Hello Awesome people ,

I have an international Booking done on accor - It is a non refundable booking
I have paid only 1k reward points and other amount (40K) via credit card (my credit card has not been debited yet)

-> I want to cancel this as i got the less rate for the same dates now. I have booked the cheaper rates as well (this is refundable , same dates for the same hotel)
Please guide me if i cancel this, how this is gonna be ?

Will i loose 1K reward points only ?what about other amount which i paid in credit card(this is not debited yet) i.e 40k
will i be able to save 40K if I turn off my credit card international txn -- will it have any impact on my accor account ?

If you cancel then they will charge for first night.
If your room conditions are same and you found cheaper rates within 24 hours then raise a complaint that you found lesser price with all similar conditions, if it is as per there terms and conditions, then they will pay the difference

this does not answer your question but it's just for general information--
For Accor hotels, the first 15 days prior to check in are expensive but around 30 days prior to checkin you will get the lowest rates.

Better to call the hotel n tell them that u found the rate at lesser price in their own website they will tell u much more clearly what can be done.

Sometimes I observed that rates are reduced in 7 days prior to date of reservation. This may be due to vacancy at the hotel
