Accor Plus Private Sale

D
if we select hotel for one night the prices are less and if we select for two or more nights, the prices increase and then discount is applied! lol. The hotel I am checking has this thing, check screenshotsView attachment 55514View attachment 55513
Don't know why its showing 6518 if you are searching for 3 nights as it should be showing the "total rate" for 3 nights and not per night.
Also, in ALL app, look for the member sale banner/thumbnail, click it and then search.

I just did exact dates and hotel as yours, 11-14July and it shows me Rs. 11768 for 3N (Rs. 3923/night avg).
Obviously not really -35% as they are showing, but I think they are basing all the "offers" on their public non-member room rate instead of already available lowest rate (which as you can see was 4284 already)

They just inflate the price and then apply discount onto it.So basically it's still the same price.Might be just for this hotel but is gimmicky.

Is it worth paying Euro 99 every year for the Ibis membership to get 15% discount on Ibis budget, Ibis styles and Ibis?

Or is this also another gimmick where they inflate the price for those who have paid 99 euros membership so net net it's almost the same as those who have not paid any thing for membership?

depends on the number of nights one is staying.99 euro should be covered if we stay for a week or more. Haven't bought it,just my thoughts.

Last stay at Ibis budget and Ibis Styles was 22000 + 24000 Accor points. I used 46000 points for 12 nights

The sale is inflated and then they reduce the price. It’s a gimmick. The ibis or voyager membership is only useful if u aim for more number of stays 12+ days in a year

assuming 15% you would have saved 6900 points, the value for points is 12420 rs.Plus if you have more trips in the year you will save more. If this was the lone trip then it wouldn't be too favourable though.

I value Accor points at 1 rupee and I am not sure if that 15% is a genuine discount or it will be given after inflating the price.

Because Ibis budget, Ibis styles and Ibis are quite reasonably priced , so I don't see any chance of a further discount.

€99 every year is 9000 rupees which will workout to 15% on 60000 spend every year
If you are sure that I will save a genuine 15% on the already cheap Ibis budget Ibis style rates, only then will I take it .

Because I am not a fan of paying money in order to save money by getting a discount

Better to avoid then I guess, usually they run sales anyway

I don't think it has to be minimum 10% through cash or card.
It can be any amount below 1800, (which is the value of 1000 points).
But some real money payment would be required in order to get status nights.
I made 3N booking at iBis Jaipur using points and paid Rs 33 via UPI . Status nights not credited .

Earlier burnt points for Sofitel BKC and paid Rs 633 via CC . Got status nights the same day !
