Hotel Points Accor Points Redemption & Calculations - [Answered]

Hello Friends,

I have a small query to anyone who has used Accor points. Please help me validate my calculations:-

Hotel Novotel Bangkok
3 Nights costs on app = Rs: 43000

2000 Accor points = 40 euros or Rs: 3500 approx.

If I redeem my accor points at the hotel while checkout then I will have to redeem 24000 points which is equivalent to Rs: 42000/- and rest will be using my card/cash.

Is this calculations correct?

Monthly Spend = Rs: 1,00,000
Edge Points = 31,000
Accor Points = 55,800
2000 Accor Points value = Rs: 3,500
Accor Points value in rupees = Rs: 97,000

This sounds like a 97% value back on monthly 1 lac spend on Axis Magnus 😵

How did you derive 55800 accor points from 31000 edge points?

Accor point will be 24800 if you convert 31000 ER point not 55800

Thanks for the correction, I did a wrong calculation.

Edge Points to Accor is 5-4 or .80
So, the reward rate comes at about 44% on Axis Magnus card milestone points.

Milestone Points

Edge Points = 31000
Accor Points = 24800
Accor Points value in Rupees = 42160
Reward Rate = 42%

1x Points

1x points on spending Rs: 10000 = 600
Accor Points = 480
Accor Points value in Rupees = 816
Reward Rate = 8%

5x Points

5x Edge Points on spending Rs: 10,000 = 3000
Accor Points = 2400
Accor Points value in Rupees = 4080
Reward Rate = 40%

10x Points

10x Edge Points on spending Rs: 10,000 = 6000
Accor Points = 4800
Accor Points value in Rupees = 8160
Reward Rate = 81%

Here what I figured out if you want to calculte how much Accor points are required for a property in India.

2000 Accor points = aprx 3500 INR(40Euros)

So 2000/3500=0.57.

Multiply 0.57 with property price in INR,you will get aprx total Accor points required for your stay.


EG.
Novotel,Goa for 5 nights is Aproxx 55,000 INR.

So 55,000×0.57= 31,350 Accor points.

Is it correct?
