Hotel Points My views on Accor hotel points redemption process

I have a query .I have booked hotels in Bali using accor points transferred through axis.In.many places I have read that Accor points can be used in case of flexible rate option .I have booked under nonrefundable option wherein I had paide 59k through points and rest 3 k through Cc.
Did I do anything wrong?
They have already charged my card .Can I make any food bill adjusted against my accor points.

If the room rate shows the option to pay using points, only then you'll see that option on the payments page. In most cases, non-refundable room rates do not have the option to pay by points. But if you found one, then good for you. You got better value for your points.

None of the accor hotels in Hyderabad are allowing to burn accor points for food. Even though on the app they are listed as all points. Is there any escalation number I can connect with? @CMG @anirban.choudhury

Aren't red hot rooms non refundable fare with mandatory card requirement? How did you convince them not to charge card and instead use points?

Novotel Hyderabad convention centre food exchange told me that I should be staying at the hotel to burn points for food. Without staying they're not allowing for meal at restaurant

Has anyone tried to purchase Accor plus membership recently? I am trying to purchase since last few days and after I enter personal details, then my address and click next, I get a blank white page. Tried different devices and different browsers too.

It is working now. You can buy membership with points.

So how it works is, book a hotel, pay using point during check in or checkout, try to pay atleast Rs 1k even after deducting points.

Ask the Hotel for the bill over email, now after 8-10 days, claim for missing points and upload the invoice.

You will get points for the whole stay including status nights and status points.

1 Accor Point is Rs1.8, currently transfer rate for Infinia is 2:1 that 2 infinia is 1Accor. On27-28 July you can get upto 75% etc so 1 Infinia points =.83 Accor points or Rs1.54 INR.

I got no clue about IHG, But have heard it provides worse value than accor.

Can we redeem points from the app just for food bill at Accor restaurant? Can you please share the screenshot once. I cannot find any option. Last time I had gone to IBIS Gurgaon and that guy could not redeem it after trying multiple times whereas Novotel delhi was easily able to do it.

On the All app, last option Reward points in our restaurants and bars. Open it. Enter venue code. Option to pay via cc or points should pop up. I dont have a venue code now for a screenshot.
