I think every private bank will have some charges for early closure.
I am not sure exactly, but a simply Google search revealed it can be anywhere between 200-500 (possibly more). So I guess you'd have to be ready to pay so much. Of course I didn't search based on your account variant.

They normally mention it in their website. But, I cound't find any, for IDFC
almost all scheduled commercial banks charges customers for bank accounts closure if account is closed before 1 years
I too had 25k wala account that i closed 4 days ago.
NO charges.
Go to branch , they fill a form , you just read and sign.
Account closed in a day.
My account was 8 month old

Was your account between 14 days to 1 year (more than 14 days, but less than 1 year) ?

Opened for pre approved card offer , later found that my city was not serviceble for credit card.
Why ?
It was deliberate.
As i wanted it to have its own paragraph , no matter haw brief it is.
