Adding Credit Cards to PhonePe

Seeing these ads daily on TV during IPL regarding adding Credit Cards to PhonePe. Few Queries:

1. Can any card including Mastercard, Visa, etc (other than RuPay) be added to PhonePe now for payment?
2. If the answer is yes, then how are payments made using the added credit card? Using QR code similar to RuPay cards?
3. Does this work on iOS?
4. On Android, can payments be made through added card through NFC? If yes, is this similar to Samsung Pay?

I think ad was about adding money to wallet and paying via qr. Not something adding card to phonepe and paying via qr. 🤔

3 percent on all the payments except UPI via bank account.

You can add any Visa, Mastercard, etc Credit/Debit card on phonepe and tokenise it with Rs 2 reversible charge. This added card can be used to make payments like Utility bills on phonepe. But you cannot make QR code payments with such cards unless its Rupay card.
