Additional savings account for people with kotak 811 account

Hi.
Wanted to open kotak everyday savings account, already have kotak 811 super savings account. Branch people are saying you cant open new account you can only upgrade 811 account.
Have anyone faced such situation. Not able to see it clearly Mentioned anywhere in kotak website

There is ban on Kotak by RBI that they cannot open new bank account or cards, so that is the reason they are denying to you.

The ban is only on credit cards, not bank accounts

I have 2 bank accounts with kotak. One being Kotak 811 and other is normal saving account.

They can open bank account offline just not online

Yes u can open another saving account offline
Like 10 k normal account or privy account

Sometimes employee are mid age aunty in kotak or even uncle's who got promoted just from sales job not core banking so
They have very less idea of inside they
Just speak from experience which is limited
