Address Verification for HSBC Credit Card Application

I am considering applying for an HSBC credit card. However, I have a concern regarding the address verification process. My Aadhaar address is registered in a Tier 3 city, but I currently reside in a Tier 1 city. The application form allows me to add my current address and permanent as from fetched from Aadhaar

My question:

1. If I list my current Tier 1 city address on the application, will HSBC conduct a physical verification at this address? or do I need any address proof of Tier 1city?

Last month they issued the card to me. Aadhar with Tier 3 address, and current/communication address of the friends home of tier 1 city. Company address of the different tier 1 city.
No physical verification was conducted.
