Advise on Visa to Rupay

I have Regalia First LTF with limit of 560000 on visa network. No account with HDFC. Can I get the same card converted ro Rupay on LTF basis ? Any advise please. Will it be worth?

Yess card will be converted to rupay for LTF. They are converting very easily and in 1 mail itself.

I sent 2 emails and 1 request on phone banking. They refused to convert citing reason that the conversion is on hold.

Take tata neu rupay card if u get ltf offer

I just called cc they converted visa to rupay in just 1 call . Took 24hrs to show virtual card in app itself and 3 days to deliver physical card. I also mailed hdfc but they asked for time to think on the matter meanwhile called and converted directly. Did this on 5th April

Only if you intend to use UPI with it

I had no luck with them for the conversion and leave it after that

I also hold regalia first card which is 8y old, but they refuse to convert hence I selected tata neu which was quickly obtained.
If you are using it actively then they will surely convert in my case I was not regular.

They will only refuse for millenia card other cards they are doing it easily. For millenia rupay version is on hold thats why stating that reason

They will only refuse for millenia card other cards they are doing it easily. For millenia rupay version is on hold thats why stating that reason

I asked for regalia first not millennia. I know it's not available on rupay.

Are there any charges for converting card to rupay variant in HDFC? Like they may charge in name of card replacement charges.

For card variant change there are no charges. However card replacement charges differ from bank to bank and case to case basis.

In mycards, showing register for upi card. I don't want double cards because I wish to take neu card.

Does within a week or month getting a card, can request for conversion of rupay variant?

Many seem to have successfully converted Moneyback Visa to Rupay. You can always ask and see. There is no time limit mentioned perse. HDFC provides one core card like your Moneyback card and a floater or co branded card. So if you get Tata Neu card then your 2nd slot will be filled and you many not be eligible for Rupay UPI card. Besides, if you convert Moneyback to Rupay, then you can as such use it for UPI. Get the additional Tata Neu card for the cashback it provides if you're using the Tata services.

In that case just tell them to convert moneyback to Rupay. They will do it ? Why cancel ? They can cancel only if you explicitly tell them to cancel it.
