Hi does anyone know "Air India SBI Signature Card" provided points on Rent payment. Also rent transaction will be counted in Annual Spend?

Annual Retail Spend	Bonus Reward Points	Cumulative Bonus Reward Points
Rs. 5 lakh	20,000	20,000
Rs. 10 lakh	30,000	50,000
Rs. 20 lakh	50,000	1,00,000

What I know is rent payment will attract 99+GST. No other charges are there.

As per sbi card website ,You will get RP for Air india signature card and the same will be counted in your annual spends.

• W.e.f. 01 Jul 2023, accrual of Reward Points will be discontinued for Rent Payment transactions on following credit cards: Aditya Birla SBI Card, Apollo SBI Card, BPCL SBI Card, Delhi Metro SBI Card, Mumbai Metro SBI Card, Chennai Metro SBI Card, Fabindia SBI Card, IRCTC SBI Card, Ola Money SBI Card & Yatra SBI Card.

I can confirm that I have made payments and have got both regular reward points and milestone benefits for the last 3 years, most recently a few days ago.

Rewards on rent discontinued from April'24

Today i received email from sbi regarding rent payment excluded even on sbi vistara prime.
Please note:

Accrual of Reward Points on Rent Payment transactions with Club Vistara SBI Card PRIME will be discontinued, with effect from 15 April 2024.

Rent Payment transactions shall be identified under Merchant Category Code (MCC) 6513, on best effort basis. The MCCs are defined by the network partners and are subject to change basis their discretion and such changes shall be implemented basis communication from the networks without any requirement for intimation/information to the customers.

Has any one received the promised 30 reward point for self tickets? I have emailed SBI mant times still they have not fixed the problem.

I asked thebsame question in another thread. My understanding is it will count as in the devaluation letter no mention on milestone exclusion.

You can't expect a good tracker from SBI, or even any other Indian banks either. Customer care agents are mostly useless. And no way to get in touch with backend team without an escalation.

We can only know if rent paymen will count after someone achieve it with such payment and report back here. Too early now.

Good for you. But I did not find the tracker on Axis app useful for my spending on my Atlas card. It was clearly counting payments which are actually excluded from milestone benefit.
