Airport Lounge Access - Canara Bank Credit Card

So I just chanced upon MASTERCARD WORLD CREDIT CARD - By Canara Bank. It gives the following benefits :


No joining / annual fees with Airport Lounge Access for self AND GUESTS? with International Lounge access too? It only charges 300 rupees if you dont spend 1,00,000/- p.a (which honestly is a good deal). Did I stumble upon a gem or Canara service is so bad, no one can get this card?

I walked into the branch and asked manager for World Mastercard Credit card.
He asked 3 yrs ITR with computation statement, Adhaar, PAN and Photo. I emailed everything to him, he took printout, asked me to self attest and within 10 minutes he said that you will get the card delivered at your address. Now waiting!
P S. I have a locker and savings account with this branch.

Finally "Master World Card" visible on my Canara account and received email confirmation as well, card dispatch details will be shared soon as per Canara Bank.

I've Savings and Home loan accounts with Canara bank, applied at branch (submitted 2 year ITR).

Update: card received.
Query: Does the card get cancelled if I close my saving account and locker?

Bhai . Card milega isi guaranty honi chahiye pehle .

There is no way other than to lick bm for days with every doc .. then if u r lucky u get the cc

I asked BM over WhatsApp, he asked me to visit branch with docs. Went to branch and filled application form on 01-Feb. I do have a SB Ac in a different branch. BM took printout of the form in front of me after entering by SB Ac No and the form had all my details pre-filled. I just had to tick the variant and sign after verifying the details. Documents submitted - PAN, Aadhaar, Latest ITR, 1 passport size photo.

Followed up on 15-Feb, was told some issues with system. WhatsApp'd BM today morning (20/02) saying 20 days no update, very disappointing service. Received call from branch post that and card was applied in their system. I had to give consent through OTP verification then another code came which I had to give to branch person over the phone. Received card approved SMS within 30 minutes.

P.S.: Branch person who called me today said there was a system upgrade due to which they were not able to submit application in their system. According to him, it did not have the consent option earlier which has now been added. After receiving approved SMS I called him back and asked whether approval is done from branch only? He confirmed that since my CIBIL is excellent (809) it was approved from the branch itself.
