Airtel app bill payment error - Airtel Axis Credit Card

Hello all,

I have been trying to pay my broadband bill (Asianet Broadband) using the Airtel Thanks App using the Airtel Axis credit card. It fetches the correct bill, but when I try to pay, I get an error: "Merchant not found: JUSPAY, CREDIT_CARD, BBPS_V2, POSTPAID, -1, UTIB, APP, null". Have you come across this error? Any thoughts on how to proceed? I've been somehow unable to lodge a complaint with Airtel - the page doesn't load after I click "post".

Just to test, I tried using different payment methods too, and I received the same error. Weirdly enough, the I was able to pay this same bill 2 months ago (that was the first time).

Your broadband service provider might not have completed the BBPS registration on their end is my guess.

Ah damn, okay. But I was able to pay it 2 months ago. If they haven't done registration, that wouldn't have gone through right? And the bill still gets collected correctly.

Nope, money never got debited. It didn't even go to the payment processing step. I'm guessing you meant to ask about the error?
