Offer Fulfilled! Airtel Axis Bank Rupay CC Approved With An Increased Limit

I've been using two Axis Bank credit cards (Ace and Neo) for about a year and a half, but with a pretty low limit of just ₹60,000. I also have a Liberty savings account with them.

For a while now, I’d been getting pre-approved credit card offers. But the one I really wanted—the Airtel RuPay card—never showed up in my pre-approved offers. I kept waiting, hoping it would appear, but no luck.

One day, I decided to applied for it directly through the Axis Bank website. After filling in all the necessary details, I received an application number and was told to wait up to seven days for an update.

Yesterday, I got a tele-verification call where they asked me a few basic questions. Nothing out of the ordinary.
Then, this morning, I received a message saying my card had been approved.
My reaction? “Okay, cool.”

But then, in the afternoon, I got another message :

*"Total credit limit on all your Axis Bank Credit Cards (CC) is INR 1,57,000. You can now continue to enjoy this as a maximum limit on any of your Credit Cards individually or as an aggregate across your cards."*

I was in shock. *Wait, what?* My credit limit had just jumped from ₹60,000 to ₹1,57,000! I honestly couldn’t believe it.

And that’s how I not only got the Airtel RuPay card but also ended up with a huge credit limit boost—completely unexpected but absolutely welcome!

They increased my limit maybe because I'm already holding SBI cc with a limit of 1.58L🤣

Congratulations.

Two years back getting axis-airtel was so much difficult. I had to ask axis to merge the limit. Mine was MC variant. Somebody told there is some minor devaluation for new card holders. Let us know after u use it properly.

it used to but this month the merchant name is changed. earlier it used to be the "innovative retail" but this month it changed to "wwwbigbasket". IDK whether it will give 10 or not.

Earlier I used bank discount offer many times but this time used Big basket's 10% cash back coupon along with Payday offer. I have Airtel axis Rupay and MC card in my family but that moment I forgot this 10% cash back and used SBI Cash back card and got merchant name Innovative Retail.
Kindly update if you receive 10% cash back or not. Next time onwards I will use Airtel axis card if I didn't claim instant bank discount offer.
If it works we will get 10% cash back in BB wallet + 10% Airtel Axis cash back + 5% Tataneu app coins offer + additional Tata neu offers like payday etc if any. It will be a fantastic deal.

We will get random offer as in the screen shot (This month Promo code BBFEBCBUPTO400 valid till 10th Feb I guess). We can use this promo code in Tata neu app as well. We will get cash back in BB wallet after delivery.
