Amazon pay card deducted my cashback for insurance payment which I did earlier

I paid for insurance payment by amazon card on amazon and got 2% cashback. But this month I didn't got cashback for my spends, so i called customer care and she told your cashback is in minus, as we deducted the cashback for insurance. What is wrong with every bank ..earlier sbi cashback card did this and now icici amazon pay doing this.
 
Insurance is not removed from cashback category. For those who are facing issues, kindly check last statement. I think they got more cashback than the eligible one. I also bought phone from amazon last month at 14k(only one transaction in statement cycle), Got 1400 INR as amazon pay rewards instead of 750 INR due to some error. This month my credits are negative as they recovered excess amount given during last statement cycle.
my cashback is correct its a mistake from there end, i got cashback as insurance payment they have deducted the same amount in this month.
 
Good to know here that for APay CC, we only need to use their own phone number.
The phone support I know they always take complaint and nothing happens.
That is why this time I emailed them and got same reply that they paid me extra for insurance payment. But my last insurance payment using APay CC was in Sep'22.
@ramandeep if your cashback really been mis-calculated by them then they will correct it but if you already got extra cashback in previous months they have recovered it from you already on the name of "extra cashback paid for insurance payment".

Remember AmazonPay CC have their own email and phone support which is different than ICICI's own email and phone support.

is this a genuine email, can I keep it for future purpose or if this issue is not resolved? as I don't see it anywhere on icici website
 
When I emailed to this address, I did not get any automated acknowledgment reply but next day got their reply directly.
Yes it's genuine please check your credit card bill statement. It's written there already.
 
I mailed to every possible email id regarding icici credit customer care, but they are just giving same pathetic reply, that you received extra 2% against the insurance payment which we have debited. But in reality there was no extra 2% rewarded to me, i made a insurance payment of 26000 and got 520 rs cashback which is valid and i have also shared the actual calculations of that month with them on mail and also asked them to provide the evidence of being rewarded extra. But still they are just replying same pathetic reply. Whom should i contact here? How can i resolve this issue?
 
Had a long long fight with ICICI over this since last two weeks now. This was their reply where I decided to let it go:

"Due to some technical issue, the Life Insurance transactions done through Amazon pay credit card between 24th Aug to 7th Dec 2022, were being provided extra 2% rewards. The rectification on impacted base has been done on 29th Dec'22 by debiting the reward points."
 
Like I said before these people just give common reply to all.
I still believe, check your previous statements and see if you got extra cashback in those months. Forget what they are saying about recovering extra insurance cashback. You should have got extra cashback in any month.

Bro there is no extra cashback, if there was a extra i would have let it go.. but it was the actual cashback which i got during insurance payment n i did only one insurance payment last year. No big cashback last year, just one insurance payment.

Bro there is no extra cashback, if there was a extra i would have let it go.. but it was the actual cashback which i got during insurance payment n i did only one insurance payment last year. No big cashback last just one insurance payment.
I think the extra cashback that the bank is referring to , is the one you received for insurance payment. As per the bank they have stopped giving cashback for insurance payment , may be due to a glitch you have received the cashback on your insurance payment which they are deducting in next month

No, amazon pay card still gives 2%cashback on insurance payment through Amazon. Even if we still try there's a banner which clearly states it. Even many people on this thread confirms the same.
 
Could you share screenshots of both last month and this month (can hide any sensitive information, needed only merchant name, amount and cashback credited to amazon account) statements?

My insurance is due for next month, never once got less than required cashback in last 4 years for insurance on amazonpay card.
some people who paid insurance payment few months ago and got 4% instead of 2%, and they have now deducted 2% back, but indeed they deducted each and every one's cashback who paid during that period and i was one of them who got 2% only not 4% but due to technical error they deduct mine 2% too, now they are too reluctant to accept their mistake and just giving same bulshit reply.
 
How can i complaint regarding this to RBI? Because they are not accepting their mistake and i have given them every evidence regarding it.. they are just giving same bulshit Answer and they are not even giving any proof of their claiming
