Amazon Wallet UPI launched, AmazonPay Balance (Money) Can be now used to send money via UPI.

Load through Credit card and transfer to bank via UPI, Free of Cost.

Updated - If your credit card loading is disabled then try this trick - you can also load via Uber app on Amazonpay wallet using your credit card/prepaid card.

Also Earn HDFC bank credit card rewards points via Uber app loading to Amazonpay wallet.​

Note- Only for Amazon wallet Full KYC accounts. Update to Amazon app version 24.12.4.300. Amazon gv is not supported.

Follow the step -

Update the App version 24.12.4.300.
GO to Send Money
select the number/upi
enter amount
proceed
it will show Bank details
then press show more ways to pay
then you can add amazon pay.

Yes then I have done the second one. I'm also able to do doorstep cash load limited to 10k a month. Tried it once and it worked.

I also used one time doorstep cash load but do you know i send him (Amazon delivery guy) googlepay UPI instead of cash. 🤣🤣

If I remember correctly I think first he loaded money into my amazon wallet account and then i sent him Gpay UPI because i was in my home town and cashload facility is not available there.

I ordered at my friend's address, she accept the courier and she told me after delivered, he (courier guy) left by giving his Gpay UPI.

Reviving an old thread, hoping for some help.

I have Full KYC amazon pay account. When I tried to register for wallet UPI, it sent a SMS for registration but then a popup showed up to tell the sms charged me this much blah blah, the popup you get for sending an SMS. But wallet upi registration immediately failed then saying amazon pay went into 'background'. After that, I have been trying for days now but it doesn't send any SMS for registration. Amazon pay also says I have deregistered for wallet UPI and I need to register again but it never sends SMS. I also reached out to customer care but they haven't resolved anything yet.

Any idea what I should do?

If you are a chortel or vi user then save that pop up message and open sms app and block that sender. Now you won't get pop up of sms charges debit while registration.

Great suggestion! But unfortunately amazon is not triggering the sending of SMS itself now. I have given all accesses, uninstalled and installed as well. What else can I do?

Probably you have exceeded the verification limit. Try after 24 hours.

I had to finally install the app on my old phone running Android 11 to finally be able to setup wallet UPI. My latest phone is running Android 14 and I had to go through this issue. God knows what kind of stupid implementation they have built.
