I just completed my application for AmEx Gold Card from their website, and the process got completed. Instantly approved, and further processing is going on. Others may also start applying.

I suggest everyone wait it out. 4.5k for MRCC or GOLD charge is too high still. AMEX will come up with great offers or maybe even LTF. I hold MRCC for 1.5k AMC. So wait out. Let the offers kick in. Also AMEX gives huge referral points. So help others out too

PS. The 1.5k AMC was given if you are referred by an existing member.

If two then you can apply but if you have 3 then wait for one month. I would apply in Nov or after that because I took 5 credit cards in the last two months and ruined my cibil.

After I had given the salary details and all, at the very last step, after which they showed it as approved

No, they said no proof is required, based on salary details and company, they approved the card. KYC for identity will still be required.

No, but they sent a mail on my office email Id for verification that I DO work there, after that, they did not ask for any ITR/income proof. Only Video KYC is remaining now.
