Bro, I'm not even able to spend 20k because of merchants not accepting. Where are you using Amex in India?

They asked me my net salary on call & when I told the actual one, I was told that the current assigned limit is the max possible as per the system & I can try after 1 month in case there's a "change in financials". Are you sure they don't ask for any proofs? In which case can inflate it a bit on call & try again?

I did right on the day of 6th month statement generation. 80K to 1.5L

The net monthly salary I told them was around 40% of my existing card limit.. if it helps can provide specifics on DM maybe if really reqd instead of on a public thread.

Call them and say that you are planning an international trip and that it would be helpful if you had some extra limit. They should be able to provide LE on the spot. No docs asked.
