Dear Technofino Community,
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share my recent experience with increasing my HDFC credit card limit through email, which turned out to be a smooth and hassle-free process.
Here’s a breakdown of my journey:
1. Initial Situation: Initially, my HDFC credit card had a limit of ₹30,000. Considering my annual Income Tax Return (ITR) of ₹6.5 lakh, I decided to request a limit increase.
2. Email Correspondence: I reached out to HDFC Bank via email, expressing my request for a limit enhancement. Remarkably, the entire process was handled through email, without the need to send any physical documents to their Chennai office.
3. Eligibility Confirmation: HDFC promptly responded, indicating that I was eligible for a limit increase to ₹95,000, subject to document verification and a CIBIL inquiry.
4. Limit Enhancement: Following the verification process and a CIBIL inquiry, my credit card limit was successfully increased from ₹30,000 to ₹1,25,000. This represents a fourfold increase, which exceeded my expectations.
5. Seamless Process: I must highlight the seamless and efficient nature of the entire process. Despite my credit card being relatively new (only 6 to 7 months old) and my recent relationship with the bank, HDFC ensured a smooth experience from start to finish.
6. Email Conversation: I am happy to share the email conversation I had with HDFC Bank regarding my credit limit enhancement. It showcases the transparency and professionalism of HDFC’s customer service.
Overall, I am highly satisfied with HDFC Bank’s service and their commitment to customer satisfaction. If you are considering a similar request, I highly recommend exploring the option of increasing your credit card limit via email.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or if you’d like to see the email conversation for reference.
Best regards,
Mr Shaikh
