No no. Don't follow this preference. If you follow this, there is a high chance that the Gold charge application will be rejected.

I and many gave got cards in this sequence.. yours might have got rejected due to specific reason in your case!

Plat travel points can't be used for gold collection points as per my info

They can be used.
You need to get mrcc or gold before plat travel.

I faced the scenario when I had reffered two of my friends and both of them got MRCC and plat travel approved first. After that amex rejected their gold cards. When talked to CC they said gold card can be applied after 6 months. There's even a thread on this. So to be on safer side its better to get the charge card first and then apply for the other two cards

Hi folks … i have always wanted to get an amex card and now I’m posting here coz I’ve got the amex trifecta approved within a span of 20 days . Special mention to @SSV for his guidance from the start of filling the application till approval and providing referral links too . Basically these cards i’ve applied for my mother . She is self-employed with ITR of 10L so no issue was there wrt income docs . Cibil was also great but didn’t got approval instantly , every time application went into manual verification stage and the guy came to check the premises. Belonging from Prayagraj ( Allahabad ) i never thought of getting an amex card … but yeah now finally in the AmEX ecosystem ..l big shoutout to @SSV again .
