in amex point structure what's is rate of return ?

just curious to know

I got offer for Gold Charge card.
So If I spend 50k proportionally thru reward multiplier in 3 months (may, june, july) then i will get 8000 points.
points value depends on the redemption choice. Even if I choose least value, then it will be 0.33 per point. which is 2640 + voucher of 1250 as per offer = 3890. which is 7.78%.
