Amex coming to BBPS finally?

I guess there will be lot of complexities as lot of Amex last 4 digit is same for same customer. For example, mine MRCC & Smartearn last 4 digit is same.

Amex works of last 5 digit.

And BBPS works on mobile & last 4 digit only. So less hope unless they make some changes.
They can implement this specific feature if they want to..For this, amex had to work with BBPS and BBPS should allow them this exemption for Amex..
Technically possible, policy wise we have to wait and see

Great news bro
Hmm.. so it seems it's alrealy 3 weeks since, and AMEX is still not in BBPS.

I guess it's mandatory, so eventually they will have to today or tomorrow 🙂

I got the same response from them last month brother. “Understanding the requirement of bill payment using BBPS”.
Let's wait for sometime.. with the kind of organizations like amex, it sometimes take time. But when they do it they do it properly..
They must be having some technical difficulties and also for any technical issue resolution BBPS also have to cooperate with them..
So it takes time..
The main point here is does amex have that strong will?? Time only will tell
But I do believe it will happen but it might take some more time

They could re issue cards which have the same last 4 digits. Like hdfc used to give add ones with the same CC number in the past but new ones are new numbers.
For new cards, they may do it. But replacing the existing ones may be very costly affair.

Entering Last 5 Digits instead 4 seems more viable solution. Let NPCI and Amex work on it 😀
