Got 5lac on smart earn, toh MRCC will be lesser than that?
It's more of an exposure related thing. You can transfer limit between cards if you want. Generally, if you want a charge card, prefer to do it in the middle than at the last.

I possess an MRCC membership, and Amex has extended an offer for an upgrade to Platinum Travel. However, as I don't typically make significant expenditures, the MRCC card suits more effectively with my requirements.

Sorry what you mean by this? We should apply for the charge as the 2nd card ? or something else?
Yes. Recommended to apply charge card as the second card. No well defined logic behind this but I have seen applications rejected for charge card when applied as the third card.

Amex Referral Program has now resumed and is applicable till September 30, 2023.

Benefits of applying via referral:

1) 2000 Bonus Points applicable to all cards

2) FYF for Reduced annual fee for membership rewards credit card (MRCC) from second year onwards

3) FYF for Platinum Travel Credit Card

Also, feel free to slide into my DMs for a better deal. IYKYK. 🤣
Haha.

DM me for better offer than what Walter Bhai offers 😛

If someone need AMEX card in their portfolio with First year free, you can apply through below referral link or scan the QR code attached...and you will earn 2000 Reward points too...

Thanks. And what are the chances at first try? Gold charge suits my needs, I don't have any other amex cards, So should I apply for mrcc first and if approved then gold charge in next 90 days? Or should I go for Gold charge as my first card?

If you have good credit history, I don't there should be any reason for them to reject.
