Amex Plat Travel Rejection

My father applied for Amex plat travel, and even though he fulfilled all the criteria's his application was still rejected. I wrote to the head of the customer service and they registered my complaint but even after that his application stands still rejected. I have written one more email to them to reconsider, What should I do in this case?

apply for Atlas.

Don’t think they reconsider once rejected. Start with Amex MRCC instead of Plat Travel as first Amex card as that’s easier to get. If you wish you can use my referral from the signature. Thanks.

I got MRCC, they rejected my new Travel Plat application too. They asked me to apply after 6 months. Looking at the referral program benefits, not much changes on Plat Travel. They might be trying to balance their product portfolio.
Honestly, this is getting out of hand. I might just get out of this AMEX ecosystem. Seems pretty strange to me.

Nothing like that one of my colleague got plat travel from my reference 2 days back
He got nice limit than his existing mrcc

My platinum travel card got rejected saying I already hold two cards. But just 2 days before I had canceled my smart earn Credit card. Then I made a complaint on CPGRAMS saying that the reason given by Amex is factually incorrect. As a resolution , Amex approved my card….check if my experience is a help.
