Amex Platinum Charge Card || Marriott Upgrade

I got my Amex Platinum Charge Card two months ago and had applied for upgrading my current Hilton, Marriott and Radisson Membership to Gold. Hilton got upgraded in 3 days while the later is still pending for almost 2 months. Tried calling Amex and they said its waiting on Marriott Bonvoy and Radisson. Tried calling the Bonvoy Support and Radisson Support for upgrade and they redirected me to Amex. I have travel coming up where I am going to avail 2 weeks in each property of these brand. Any pointers if it is normal to take this long for upgrade?

I am in the same boat as Marriott upgrade to Gold is pending since 6 weeks. They told me that Marriott upgrade is taking 6-8 weeks.
Hilton and Radisson both got upgraded in 3-4 days.

For 3x of my cards (including supplementary), all hotel membership upgrades were completed within 24 hours.

For the 4th card, after waiting for a couple of weeks and seeing no movement, I asked Amex to cancel the request and then reapply for the hotel memberships. It took less than 24 hours for the upgrade to kick in. Sometimes there is an issue with their backend and reapplying works faster than waiting it out.

MB finally got upgraded to Gold Elite after 6 weeks.

Lucky, I got Mariott upgrade within 5 hours, Hilton within 24 hours.

yes they send red colour epicure membership whereas Marriott and Hilton will be upgraded from amex side if your provide the details. no card will be send but we can see the details in Marriott and Hilton app. I am Hilton diamond but Hilton doesn't have good property in India except blore and Pune Hilton Conrad. taj is very much involved in amex as all get 25% discount and special privileges if we book through amex travel by calling them.

taj epicure valid for a year and after that amex send new card. every year until we close the amex. but epicure doesn't give free stay voucher only discount for food. which is good

All memberships are valid until card is cancelled? or are they valid even if you cancel your card after 1 year

Memberships are only valid till the Amex card is valid.
I got upgraded to all the memberships including Taj, Marriot, Hilton, Radisson and Accor in less than a week. However I’m still waiting for Times Ace membership.
