Amex Platinum Charge Taj Offer + Voucher Query?

Hi All,

There is an offer of 25% off on Taj Hotels booked using the Amex Platinum Concierge Service. Wanted to check has anyone used this and then can we pay the balance amount from the Taj Vouchers or do we have to pay it via Amex Plat Charge only?

It depends on the property too sometimes. Try booking with the offer , while clearing off the bill try and seek a conversation in utilising the vouchers . Sometimes it works. Palace hotels usually don’t encourage such arrangements though.

All the times I’ve tried this -
1. Properties don’t accept the AMEX voucher when clubbing with the 25% off deal
2. I have been able to pay with other cards, no property has forced me to pay with the Plat Charge yet.

Yes properties don't allow clubbing vouchers with deals. Itnis accepted on standard rates but it depends upon the person you impress that vouchers get accepted. I have seen some redeem tajnvouchers on 25% or member rates. It all boils down to luck.

U also get same offer as celebrating with joy if you book before 31st July for stays upto Aug or Sept check
