Amex Platinum Reserve Card Offer

Hey, I got a call from Amex for a card upgrade. I currently have smartearn card. I used to also have gold charge and mrcc but i closed them earlier.

I was thinking of getting the platinum reserve card just for the access to epicure. Which comes much cheaper than buying it from Taj directly. And also for accessing the Amex lounge in Mumbai and Delhi.

Is it a good idea to get this card considering we also earn MR points on spends via this card?

Also, I don't think reserve gets access to any centurion lounges. Only PP lounges.

Reserve gives access Amex lounges confirmed it with customer care

Even that won't exist from next month. Stay away from Reserve. 😅

Amex recently removed the access to Centurion lounges in Delhi and Mumbai from September 1st 2023.In my opinion it's a major devaluation,as I frequently use the Amex lounge in delhi.There is no point in taking Amex Reserve unless you play golf at least 2-3 times per month.
