Amex has been removed from SBI unipay and hdfc bill desk and I have a total of Rs 1.9L bill generated yesterday. I have:-

1. IDFC AND ICICI WEALTH DC
2. RBL SIGNATURE PLUS DC
3. HDFC PLATINUM DC
4. INDUS SELECT DC

but now Amex has been removed from SBI UNIPAY AND HDFC BILLDESK, can anyone recommend any other way to pay the bill and get RP using the above cards?

Amex is already added to bbps. I pay amex using cred or mobikwik
Amex payment through cred doesn't use BBPS method. I just sends the amount via UPI to amex card number.

That's why anything other than UPI is not supported in cred

we can check who all are live on bbps

Any update?

How to pay AMEX CC using BBPS - DC
Amex not onboarded yet on BBPS.
They may never actually. Because one can have 2-3 cards with same last 4 digits from amex. this may mess with how BBPS fetches the bill

Support rep's exact quote "We prefer if the payment is done from our portal" and they gave that stupid portal link which is kinda inconvenient compared to BBPS or apps like cred

Maybe, everyone should write to Amex India asking them when they are going to be on BBPS. Point out that in terms of customer friendliness and speed of settlement BBPS is far superior to their existing modes of payment. I have been doing so, but if more people join in maybe they will pay attention.

Many banks have been offering this from 1st July. Yet 3 months down the line Amex isn't even in the WIP list. It kind of makes a mockery of this statement of theirs: https://www.americanexpress.com/in/company/mission.html

"Provide the world’s best customer experience every day."

@TechnoFino perhaps you could bring it up on Twitter? You have a huge reach.
@BestBanker perhaps you could bring this to the notice of your management? Or provide us the email address of the customer service head? It's time Amex India actually listened to their customers.

Currently from other threads, we can pay using Mobikwik and Cred. However, it is not possible to get any rewards through these apps.

This topic is being discussed in https://www.technofino.in/community/threads/how-to-pay-amex-cc-bill-and-get-cashback.29012 and there is a link in the thread which shows the banks integrating with BBPS and the status is WIP. Amex is not in that list and hence it is not known when they will be onboarded to BBPS.

yeah i saw the list, ig it wont be possible as amex is not even in WIP.

So that means no 1% extra profit for AMEX or 1% extra loss in AMEX

Same here I had 3L to pay and have wealth dc I just paid from cred

No working non Amex Apps/ Sites?

I paid my Amex cc outstanding two days back through cred. It got paid.

Any update?
