i escalated it directly to country head email but they straight away said cant reverse the fees.
my reserve card is 2 months old and the sole reason why i agreed to squander 5k+ gst on joining fees at the airport kiosk was their usp of amex lounge
now within 2-3 months they have removed it making me feel like i have been mis selled a product

was able to get india ceo and us ceo email have written to them
obviosuly i dont expect a reply from them but lets see what happens

Its OK that you are trying to get the fee reversed but you would have got 11000 bonus MR points. If you convert those to Taj vouchers,you will get vouchers worth INR 5500. If you convert in Marriott points, you get value in excess of 10K.
In addition you would have got Taj epicure and EazyDiner prime membership. If you can get membership fee reversed, great but I guess you can get value for the fee atleast in first year if you are able to use these benefits.

PS: If they have issued Taj Epicure membership, in my view the possibility of fee reversal is low.

well at the end of the day it is not about the money,it is because i feel cheated and mis selled a product,
had they continued this lounge access i wouldnt have had the slightest problem about the fees

I am in the same boat. Card received in July 23 and in Aug they announced no access to centurion lounges on Reserve. Even I want to close the card after first year now.
