Amex smart earn cc application rejected

Applied for amex smart earn cc on 02/03/25 with 775 cibil score but rejected via sms. On 03/03/25 customer care called me and ask me details of my income, address and told me for vkyc . after puting my call on hold she told me that sorry..we are unable to process . and got an email reply. What might be the issue? I have simply click, Rubyx and axis ace.

Yes....as per form fill up ( according to latest ITR) I told them

They have not stopped issuing new cards, maybe that's the reason.
