AMEX Taj voucher Gifting Query

Hi,

Can someone please confirm if i gift my Amex Taj Voucher to someone else, will that person be able to use the same or it can be only used by the Orignal Card holder?

As per the rules and TnC, It must be used by the cardholder only.
However, in most people's experience, they do not check the ID, just confidently use the vouchers for your stay.

You can search for similar threads and people's experiences using the "Search" option.

I have used my brother's voucher in last November after he dropped an email to them that I would be using it. I don't know it was a one time gesture or can be done regularly.

The vouchers don't have any names attached to it. They can be used by anyone who has the GV number and the pin. 🙂

If I buy amex vouchers using gold collection , is it instantaneous? For example, purchasing while staying at TAJ hotel. The milestone vouchers take atleast 10 to 15 days. CAn someone please confirm taj vouchers purchase using points is instantaneous (GOLD collection)?

Can be used for dining, only if you are staying. So, staying is mandatory, then you can add the dining charges to the room bill, and redeem the voucher.
Can not be used for dining only (if not staying).
