Amex Taj Voucher Query

Quick question - I want to redeem the Amex Taj Voucher, can someone confirm which price list they will consider it it standard rates or members rate.
I created tajhotel[.]com account via my Tata neu registered mobile no. and its showing Silver member.

I contacted Taj Hotel on phone to book stay on Amex Taj Voucher. I asked the same. He said Amex Vouchers can be redeemed at Stansted rate only and not at Members only rate

I have Taj 10k voucher, do we need to have the Plat travel card active at the time of redemption? I was thinking of closing the card as I was not using it much anymore and there are no renewal offers anymore. Will I be still be able to redeem the voucher without the card?

(I have another Amex card so points will not expire)

when i used my voucher, i simply call the TAJ hotel, they asked me to provide the voucher code on the email they sent me for hotel confirmation. also if the charges are extra mention that you will pay the the property the remaining amount, they didnt ask me if i have the card or not you can pay the remining amount with any card or cash or upi. make sure when they ask you to provide the voucher no. and code. provide them the full email screenshot. so its clear that you received the voucher from amex on your email id. (To, From - email ids).

Vouchers are redeemed at Standard rates. Been to multiple properties and its the same everywhere they apply standard rates

That is considered a standard voucher not an amex voucher. The 10k voucher amex gives you is the amex voucher mentioned everywhere.

I have a quick question now. I already booked at silver price. which came around ~12500 but the non member rate is ~14000
by the check out time will they automatically charge 4k extra or do I have to cancel the 12500 one and book at standard rate ?

I just completed a stay at Taj MG road, Bangalore last weekend. I booked members rate, I also got 25% discount on F&B. Paid the stay using 2 vouchers, 1 from Axis Olumpus And anther from Amex plat milestone. No questions asked, accepted at discounted rates.

Yes always one is booking select at pay at hotel so one can redeem vouchers without antly question. Even i had stayed at Taj mg road and I too redeemed voucher at members rate... sometimes they may refuse if they know it is amex then they will ask you to redeem for food and beverages . Normally in bangalore they don't ask which kinda voucher is it... I normally ask then to redeem it has advnce payment at hotel and gets d3ducted... 3 days back i stayed in westend and even there they did not ask they just redeemed...
