nope, for the existing users of Amex , applying their 2nd card they don't do VKYC but for new users it a mandatory. tell your friend first linked addhar number to his number cause many cc bank will ask for this to authentication purpose

Aadhaar mobile linking is essential for many online activities.

I received vkyc link for 2nd card application within 2 weeks of first card issue.

Yes. But not if you apply online

You can get mobile number linked easily in a couple of days. Just apply online and visit a seva kendra by booking appointment.

@BestBanker nowadays Vkyc process is taking too much time just to connect with agent. Any idea why is that so?
2 of my friends tried to do Vkyc but couldn't connect to agent
