i guess if u use member rates and all and book then vouchers wont work mostly... u need to book at normal rates as far as i know

I have used members rates at Taj Covelong Chennai and at checkout used Taj Experience Gift Card from Amex Platinum card without any hassle.

You can mail them and confirm that you want to use the Gift Voucher against the members rate after making the booking and cancel if they don't allow.

One can use taj voucher on member rate too . Pay the total bill part by voucher and any balance pay by card. I have done this in most of the taj properties. Reason is one can select pay at hotel when booking online and when you checkin just tell them you would like to redeem voucher of 10k or 5k which ever. They wull redeem it in advance and any extra pay by card. I do these most of the time in taj westend and mg road taj
