An App that lets me track my net worth.

What's the obsession about tracking networth? Anyway when you liquidate asset, the value would come much lesser.

I don't even understand how people give mobikwik permission to check mail for some discount. It's not enough to buy a road side biriyani. Giving this much permission to track nw. OMG

any suggestions on tracking market profits.. in terms of XIRR or overall % returns?

it's pretty easy to track XIRR of MF..
and overall % gain in stocks..

But as we sell or reinvest, it gets complicated and we don't get an idea of how our investing strategies have done over the last few years..

any templates or tracking suggestions on this would be really helpful..
(perhaps something i can quickly copy/fill with data exported from Groww or other reports. instead of logging each txn manually )

Unless you know macros, you have to update input data each time.
these things are possible with powerbi, macros, qlikview but It's have been years since i last used them.

As we invest in multiple instrument across multiple platform, data manipulation is required. The format of exported data would be different.

Don't apps provide "export to csv"?
they do export txn statements.. every app has a different format usually..
one time copy paste or formulas would be required..
importing data is fine.

But i haven't had time to create a sheet that would help me track and carry the realized profits for xirr calculation..

Today, I m gonna talk about IndMoney,

It is a super money app that will track all your investments (like stock, mutual fund, FD, PPF etc..) and liabilities (like loans and Credit Card dues) to calculate your Net Worth. You can also set your financial goals and track them with the app. But, the most important thing is you can invest in Indian Mutual Funds, Corporate FDs, and in US stock market using this app.

You can signup using my referral link and you'll receive Rs.750/- worth of US stocks.

What I am doing with this app.

- I am investing in the US stock market
- I am running a SIP in Quant Tax Plan (an ELSS mutual fund)
- I have an FD that gives me a 7.35% interest rate. This is my emergency fund that I can withdraw anytime I want.
- I am tracking the Indian stock investments that I made in Zerodha.
This app shows me which stock did well and which performed badly.
It shows me NEWS about the stocks that I own.
It gives me BUY-HOLD-SELL recommendations (by the way, I follow my own judgment)
- I am tracking my NPS with it
- I am tracking my Credit card spending and getting US stocks as rewards .. which is sweet.
- You can apply for IPOs with this app. I had placed an order for Nykaa IPO via this app. but unfortunately, I did not get the allotment. Now I am thankful that I did not get it😆

I might be missing some of the features. But I am here for all the queries.
If you want screenshots of a certain feature, you can ask and I will share.

Is anyone using this app? if yes, then please share your opinion.
Indmoney was the first app i saw which net worth tracking. Aside from using the app for investments, what was your requirement behind using it for net worth tracking. Do the details needed to fill up seem invasive ?
