IRCTC convenience fee which is there for all bookings - direct on IRCTC or any other website. It is 15 + GST for Non AC and 30 + GST. Not applicable only on counter bookings.
Second is agent convenience fee which is now being charged by Amazon. Smartbuy or Redbus are not charging this yet. No such cost if you directly book on IRCTC but there won't be any offers
Third is payment gateway charges which is applied on credit cards (1% + GST) including HDFC Bank credit cards and most debit cards. Not levied on UPI and HDFC debit card upto 1 lakh.

This was my last booking on October month in AC Coach. Total fare including irctc AC Charge is Rs Rs 5930 and debited the same amount. But when transaction settled they added 1% charge, you can see it in this screenshot. Cashback credited in 2 days, that's also visible in screen shot. Pls check red and green line
#After October, I never booked through smartbuy as I closed HDFC Credit Card.
Booking via Smartbuy with Infinia or DCB is still good due to 3x accelerated reward points even with 1% PG charges. HDFC debit card also works good with 5% cashback and no pg charges.
Some people mentioned getting charged 1% for nps payments apart from what is shown already while doing transaction. But didn't see it mentioned anywhere.

No charges for mobile recharge with credit card linked through Payzapp till last month as I used it. I think the cashback is 20 INR. I don't know the validity of cashback and will be useful to know. Do update if you find out.
