Any shortcut to the Marriott Platunum Status

HDFC bonvoy gives 10 status night and silver elite status

AMEX platinum charge card gives Gold status

Can we combine these two and stay 15 more night to get the Platinum status?

Or any other shortcut Direct method is there to achieve the Platinum Status

You will get 10 nights and gold status if you have both these cards but is it really worth paying so much for platinum charge card???

got it...I do not have charge card...I am not finding any reason of taking it...
accor plus also only traveller
Will continue with Platinum travel and MRCC tough just to get points and be in the Marriott arena...as the points also does not expire..someday it become useful...no harm in keeping..

Just now I learnt that in USA, you can get directly platinum elite membership if you take 630 USD (means Rs 50000) fee AMEX Bonvoy Brilliant card
Where in India giving 75000 (approx) fee, we are getting only gold status

Amex bonvoy brilliant card is still not available. I wish some Indian super premium credit card come up with such nice memberships

Plat gives Gold Elite status only.

Corresponding nights (25) are not added.

Only during Covid they credited 50% of the elite nights to peoples’ account, based on status, even if one hadn’t stayed any night through the year.
