ok..of course we are getting benefit but the benefits are not customizable...that is the problem...anyway, we should be grateful for the parks we are getting through our credit card.....expecting too much is not healthy...You can book higher-category rooms using Marriott Points, depending on the property. Additionally, you can always request a room upgrade. Hotels typically upgrade your room category if higher-category rooms are available—and no, you don’t have to be an influencer to get an upgrade. If you have a higher status in the hotel loyalty program, you may also enjoy perks like free breakfast, late check-out, early check-in, and more.
Another point to consider is that you’re earning free night stays against your credit card spends, which you’d be making anyway. So, why not use the card and get a free night? Don’t overthink the per-point value—it’s about fulfilling your requirements, which you’re getting for free through your reward points or paying significantly less than the normal rate. That’s all that matters.
Recently We celebrate my daughters birthday in Novotel...the normal expenditure would be Rs. 14400 but I paid around Rs. 6200 along with free decorated birthday cake using my easydiner card...I think that's what matter in the end of day...
Whether accor or Marriott both cases, we are getting benefit and winning only....
