Any trick to receive welcome benefit on HSBC cashback card?

It will give 1000 on spends of 10000 or more within 30 days of card issuance. Any way to complete this? I don't have grocery and dining spends of that much.

I activated the card on 4th and my statement generation date in 8th. If I make transaction now, when will I get the voucher?
