Seiko 5 is a great watch.
I think Rolex is another level. and will be like that until they increase production. Not saying for investment but there is a unmatched luxury tag associated with

Citizen & Tissot are giving saffire crystal at 30k but recently seiko watches even above 50k have harlex crystal. All Seiko watches with Saffire crystal is above 60k. Thats really a let down.

Citizen Tsuyosa with the Miyota 8210 is a much better value pick IMO than the Tissot PRX and some really amazing trendy colours. Bought one last week with the Sunset Orange Dial.

I see it’s been a while since anyone posted, but I just wanted to ask—has anyone added any new pieces lately? I’ve been eyeing a Seiko SRPE55 for daily wear, and I’m curious how it holds up long-term. Also, how do you usually decide between getting an automatic vs a solar-powered model? Trying to keep maintenance low without missing out on quality.

I started with citizen in 2019 and then bought a Seiko open heart in 2023. This is when automatic watch keeda got into me. I have another Seiko (from Japan), Tissot (got as a wedding gift from USA) and my crown jewel grand Seiko snowflake.
The snowflake I got from grand Seiko website in india and it actually cheaper than japan and USA since they had 10% off all the time.
