Anybody tried DOOSRA.COM virtual sim to avoid spam calls etc

1k, we can purchase new sim and provide that, we always has full control of what calls to be allowed etc or can block it all calls and everything is in our name and control.
Just curious, how do we decide whether to provide actual number or dummy number when we shop, apply loan or card, etc. one way or another we have to provide actual number which in turn open for spam calls.
And how do we decide whether that call is spam or actually important because sometimes we apply for a card and waiting for call (which open spam calls) have to filter it out actual call from spam calls.
IMO, compared to rely on that website privacy and security, purchase own sim and spend 1k per year and we can do whatever we like, not worth it.
