Anyone even able to get their air india points worth?

Man after the takeover from vistara value of points are evn more shxt. Travelled 7 times in 2 months wasn't able to use a single point. Reason? It's always crazy expensive first thing air india doesn't fly to half the places direct. Second even direct flight delhi kolkata or delhi mumbai are somehow always on prime fare? Wth does air india mean 10500 points + 1600 tax for booking 2 months later??. How are you guys copig with this

I usually fly from blr to BOM and i most of times get value close to 1 rs per point.
Hidden benefit is the cancellation. You can cancel at expense of 15% points which is good deal
