Anyone got DCB under alumni offer without income docs?

I had a chat with central region cc head last month. At least Dcbm fyf and dcp ltf alumni offer is still active.Dcb pvc ltf was withdrawn because the product itself was discontinued. This thread isn't about that.

It requires same income criterion as per product feature. But I got to know sometime back from alumni team that there is another provision under alumni offer wherein alums>3yr & >6yr can get dcp and dcb without income docs. Most people in cc dept also don't know about this. Only by showing precedent, rest can get it aswell.

This was the motive behind the thread to find an customer/rm who have got it without docs through this provision.
ok gotcha hope you find soon!

Sounds interesting but I am also looking for this 6yr offer route which can possibly get me DCB. But we need some proof about this so that we can ask the bank and HDFC folks are completely clueless about this alumni offer couple years back when it was at its peak. I tried a lot for DCP at that time but those stupid people messed up my home and office verification multiple times. Plus they were clueless about the alumni offer.

@sidp can you share some evidence about this 3yr and 6yr option or maybe ask that CC regional head to share some document which supports the statement which we can use it at local branch to avail this offer?

regional head is even more clueless. They are just there to maintain relationship with hni/corporate clients. All procedural stuffs are handled by juniors.

I got this info from my bschool alumni team. He told me one of my senior ( self employed 😅) got it through this method. But I couldn't get hold of him. He even suggested me to directly talk to GH (an alum who is a friend of my old boss /mentor). I said don't want to talk to such a senior alum for a cc. It might even backfire if he asks for some " investment " 🤣

I have seen multiple reddit thread about dcp ltf without doc. Even card maven site mentions it. Getting dcp would be easy I think.

DCB is pre approved for me.(at least it shows it is) But don’t have any spends which may make it beneficial or reverse the fees for me.

DCP is very non lucrative now acc to me. December they were handing out LTF DCP to any NTB customer. I am eyeing for DCB LTF in whichever way! I dont meet their income criteria but alumni criteria- YES.
Post Graduated in 2019 so hoping that 6year route can get me DCB LTF without income docs.

If you use it smartly(smartbuy) you can easily recoup the fee. Mostly depends on flight, hotel spends and lounge access frequency. If you plan to swipe only at local super market, then fee can't be justified.
You can take up if it is an fyf offer and decide later If you want to hold on or downgrade.

If you find success , don't forget about me. 😆
Dcbm is fyf not ltf anymore.

Any threads about guide to use it smartly which you know of? May be I will have a look. Although my primary intention is to get upgraded to Infinia from if I get DCB as it provides reward points on renewal

I did hear something on various alumni channels but nothing without income proofs. Given the bank may extend the offer to LTF but I doubt it'll be bypassing the CIBIL requirements
