Anyone with IndusInd Pioneer account?

Hi guys! I am planning to open IndusInd Pioneer savings account. Anyone currently having that account? If yes please share details about the debit card and credit you got along with that.

You can keep visa signature debit card with pioneer account too. Will you get 0.9% cashback on it or only 0.5% like the pioneer debit card?

That's really some weird of Indus it seems.

Visa Infinite DC comes with Pioneer which has 1RP=1Rs. for 200 spent
Visa Signature DC comes with .9% CB 🤣

I thought Infinite is normally a higher variant than Signature, I guess Indus swapped it here.

Pioneer has unlimited. 0.5% from starting only and not slab wise like in exclusive

On mobikwik all indusind debit cards earn points for credit card bill payment. On cheq mastercard variants will get

I have it. https://www.indusind.com/in/en/personal/cards/debit-card/pioneer-world-debit-card.html this is the debit card.
It also makes you eligible for 2 credit cards namely Pioneer Legacy and Pioneer Heritage. I also have both of them.

Considering you given them substantial initial amount for opening, was there reduction in joining fee?

Debit card is free. For the credit cards standard fee was charged, I did not give substantial initial amount just the bare minimum so there was no reduction.

So, after debating for the last few days whether to open Pioneer Account or not , today I made the plunge and opened Pioneer Account

I went via online route which requires only 90K funding and opened Pioneer Account for my family member. Video KYC done and so now within 7 days should have the kit.

Personally I have Exclusive Account which ill request for upgrade by linking to this Pioneer Account

@Kartik2022 @Sagarreddy378 @ace9 - could gather from few Pioneer threads that you have Pioneer relationship and hence tagging you for for tips, ideas - what all to be done now?

Few queries:

1) Metal Debit Card can be requested only after physical welcome kit received right?
2) Metal DC via RM or can be done via Phone Banking too?
3) Which DC variant - Visa or Master Card if given a choice?

No such timelines. One has to meet 30 lakhs TRV within 1-3 Quarters.

Only downside is newly opened pioneer won't get mastercard world exclusive debit card which has 0.92% cashback on cheq app. Upgraded exclusive account holders can keep the existing card till its validity but they won't renew once it expires as pioneer account holders get only mastercard world pioneer card which has cashback of only 0.5%

Thanks for sharing. I did raise request for get MC Debit Card for my Exclusive Account as was not getting points for Mobikwik / Cheq etc payments.

Is it, thanks for sharing - thought only MC World gives Cashback on Mobikwik and Cheq.
