APay to MMT upgrade

I've ICICI FD Card, I'll close the FD this September.
Got APay last month.
So, how can I get another CC as the APay don't have offers everywhere.
Should I process with the popular method (Expressions→MMT), or call customer care directly?

P.S. I want a new Card with separate limit, not sharing.

Called the customer care, he said I need to have a Salary account to get upgrade from APay.
So, I think I need to go through the long process of Apay→Expressions→MMT.🤦🏻‍♂️

Why you want to upgrade Apay card? It's one of the decent card of ICICI you can get. If you want ICICI offers, go separate route and apply some gemstone card or any other one.. Closing/upgrading Apay is not good in my opinion. Apay can also help you in getting other ICICI cards on shared limit basis. Keep checking loans and forex section in mobile app for core/cobranded icici card offers.

ICICI never closes old card after upgrading, So be tension free, Upgrade current credit card and enjoy both.
One thing, all cards in ICICI will have shared limit.

By upgrading I meant keeping the APay but getting a regular ICICI Card too!
'Cause there's no instant discount offers with APay.

I have icici bank amazon pay credit card. How do I apply for icici bank regular credit card? By any means other than expression card.
