Applying for SBI cashback from different state

I am currently on a different state due to some reasons and will be there for around three months.

Can I apply for SBI credit card online from here? I don't mind cc getting delivered to my actual permanent address as my family is there and they will receive it.

Or should I just wait till I go back.(I was hoping if I can apply it from here as I will be using it next month a lot)

For sbi, there will be physical verification where agent will come to the address and take photo I think. Atleast that's what happened to me. Asked the agent to come after 1 week when he called as I also don't live at my home town where my aadhar address was. Went home next week and did verification.

They sometimes come for home verification, as they came for me. So this may cause issues for you
