How to get AU Bank credit card lifetime (Steps) —
1. Apply for any AU bank credit card (All AU bank cards are being issued LTF to Gov & a few MNC employees - check LTF list).
2. Select your company name carefully
3. Wait for card approval
4. After card approval & delivery, you have to confirm your card pricing (LTF or Chargeable) from AU bank customer care.
If it's LTF... then enjoy.
If they inform you, your credit card is chargeable... then you have to request AU bank to provide you LTF card by sending them your proof of employment.
Send an email to creditcard.priority@aubank.in request them to convert your chargeable credit card to a LTF credit card & attach your last month salary slip & ID card.

Took around 10 days. They created one more SR different than the one I got once I sent the mail and shared it with me for tracking it further. It was resolved in a week.

Fees is levied in fourth statement so cannot confirm yet if it was processed successfully or not.

Thanks a Lot @Tosh ! It helps!!

I mailed them my employer details as per details provided in this post after receiving the card. They came back with a reply - its fee based card and cannot be changed to LTF due to bank internal policy. My employer is there in a provided list. What should i do? I don't wanna pay 8000 fees for this card. Can a card be auto closed within 30 days if not activated? Should i escalate further?

Does somebody have the updated list of employers other than the provided one in this post? Please tag it along. I want it to escalate it further

you need serviceable area address, AU bank may ask you for address proof.
Is there anyway we can identify non serviceable pin code of Au bank credit card or only cibil hit is the olny last option to try we have , Is there any au credit card agent no for mp region.

I did an international transaction in INR using AU zenith. But was charged 2.36% forex markup fee. Customer care saying it cannot be refunded and is as per mitc.

Can I complain to rbi ombudsman for this, as mitc mention only cross currency transaction?

Also, if i cancel the transaction, will i get this fee reversed or will i be charged another markup fee for refund as well?

Zenith markup fee is that only right? I'm not getting about refund, could you explain - have to do some purchase on my Zenith too.

Cancel usually doesn't do another markup but not sure in AU bank, CITI/YES won't do that.
Markup is for cross-currency transaction, not for INR. Most banks don't charge anything for INR transactions.

Recently hdfc added 1% charges for INR transactions. I think axis also did (not sure). But these are still much lesser than usual forex conversion charges.

I saw some people with icici card mentioning that they were charged markup fee again on refunds. So, they lost lot of money for nothing (8.26% assuming conversion was unchanged).

They mentioned sbi and hdfc reverse fee when refund occurs. But many other banks like axis , icici don't refund, but charge markup again. So i want to know what is the status of AU bank.

I do not know your scenario, might help you for this..

I once purchased a game which displayed prices in INR, and even transaction amount also in INR. But after statement generated I noticed there is markeup fee for my transaction.

Upon checking with support, they said that this is indeed foreign transaction and hence the markup fee. When I checked with that website they mentioned that they displayed the prices in equivalent INR prices for the convenience of users but indeed they charged in USD.

So, before escalating do check whether they actually charged in INR or converted to INR as part of convenience.
That's surprising. Never saw such thing with Agoda, Singapore airlines etc with sbi/yes bank cards. My current transaction was in klook with AU zenith card.

Was there any change in amount when transaction settled?

For INR transactions, it will exactly match. But for foreign transactions, it will vary based on currency exchange rates. For me, it matches exactly till the paise level. So, highly unlikely they it was charged in usd.

It was with SBI CC a while ago, since then I didn't used that card anywhere (can't also) for International transactions and the same website working fine with Citi/BOB working without markup at that time (hopefully now also).

Invoice amount is same and that too in INR but after statement generated they included this additional markup fee.

In your case also same website might work with some other cards without markup fee but not with AU because the famous "We charged as per MCC", you can escalate with AU support team with website invoice &/ mail or OTP amount messages, if everywhere it is INR then ideally you shouldn't charged with markup fee.

At that time, I tried to deal with SBI CC but eventually lost the hope and do not know about escalation at that time. Since, Zenith support is responsive try to get back that markup fee.

hi everyone,

is the LTF offer (zenith) for the company list still going on?

1. am thinking of applying and sending an email to their customer care team asking if ltf is offered for certain company employees.

2. in case i receive a paid card, can i just let it go stale without activating it and not need to pay joining fees?

Please guide me to apply for zenith as whenever I try to do the application it says that their representative will contact bt never received a call

I have a LTF AU LIT, and see that my company is in the list. Can I get also get a Zenith or if 2 AU CCs are not allowed, is it worth upgrading?

Is there salary requirements to be fulfilled also? Thinking of applying zenith.
I checked the list and my employer is listed as super A but it gives literally peanuts salary.

They might ask for the salary slip or form 16 if they are unable to verify your employment/ office address in some cases.
In that case annual gross salary should be 25L n above.

Post we get the lit card ltf when can we try for a swipe up like card or limit upgrade
I got pre approval in app and without even cibil fetch took lit and able to see card virtually within hours
But I target for zenith since my employer is in their A list category
Any inputs please
