No, I'm talking about offline usage. Scapia offers flat 2% value cashback on all offline transactions* (including fuel)Scapia or any co-branded Federal cards aren't eligible for federal Bank offers.
With Scapia's conditional unlimited Indian lounge access, 4% reward rate on travel related bookings, 0 forex and unconditional LTF, it is a way better option (at least until scapia devalues their reward coins) than to opt for ACE and try to meet 2L waiver criteria.Utility again skipped🤣.
Remember most sites including travel sites come under utility category mcc. This is the only axis card, which is still not devalued and lucrative with 2% cb.
U won't get 4% cb, if mcc is of utility. With Scapia's conditional unlimited Indian lounge access, 4% reward rate on travel related bookings, 0 forex and unconditional LTF, it is a way better option (at least until scapia devalues their reward coins) than to opt for ACE and try to meet 2L waiver criteria.

Redemption is the issue on Scapia. Its suitable for selected customer base only. While on Ace we get direct no nonsense cashback. No, I'm talking about offline usage. Scapia offers flat 2% value cashback on all offline transactions* (including fuel)
That is true. But Scapia has started to Introduce some vouchers for direct redemption at half it's value against travel redemption like Uber. But your point stays, this card is for those who travel.Redemption is the issue on Scapia. Its suitable for selected customer base only. While on Ace we get direct no nonsense cashback.
Which is already devalued 🫴🫴Axis ace may be devalued further. its better to take sbi cashback card.
It is the other way actually. Ace got devalued recently twice. Now I don't think anything more will happen soon. It is still best card for utility category mcc (not counting DCB/Infinia).Axis ace may be devalued further. its better to take sbi cashback card.
Will we get 2% on municipality property tax payments ?6381 Insurance–Premiums

8299 Schools And Educational Services–Not Elsewhere Classified
8211 Schools, Elementary and Secondary
8241 Schools, Correspondence
8244 Schools, Business and Secretarial
8249 Schools, Trade and Vocational
Axis Ace is still the best card after the devaluation, it offers 2% unlimited cashback on offline transactions.
It literally covers most of your offline spendings. Anything that's not fuel or emi or jewelery.Which categories in offline you use this card usually?
I hope purchase of gold/jewellery items, educational services already not eligile.
Where as Scan related shops usually cover with UPI CC (which anyway we can't use Ace in those shops).
Dining not the best card to get only 2% cashback.
Entertainment, shopping usually covers online cards (either with vouchers or web purchases) and we have cards that provide 5% on shopping, departmental stores, grocery (offline) with more or less same fee and less restriction.
Bills covers only Electricity, Gas, Mobile Recharges, Broadband but for me that usually covers with AmazonPay vouchers, even without that usually annual packs provide more than 5% discount (except: Electricity, Gas where you have to pay every month and Ace provides 5% on those categories - actual benefit I see with this card ).
Curious to know which categories I missed for Offline spends? if possible let me know it will help to optimize spends actually. TIA
I see some categories but we use on those categories occasionally (not hoping regularly), anycase useful offline categories other than mentioned above
- Healthcare (hospitals, pharmacy etc.)
- Service centers (bike, car, mobile etc.)
- Where those 5% deparmental store cards not eligible due to MCC (shopping stores, electronics stores (if they accept cc))
WOW!It literally covers most of your offline spendings. Anything that's not fuel or emi or jewelery.
Got 1037 cb in the last cycle.

For dining, it's better to use hdfc millennia and pay using Swiggy dineout or zomato. As it gives 5%
