TF Select
Just received my Airtel Axis Bank LTF, any one from our fellow members get is LTF ?
How I applied ?

First of all I installed Airtel Thanks app, I have Jio sim —- msg comes Thabk you for your interest. The offer is not available to you currently.

I tried changing to my Dad mobile no. N bingo I could be able to apply but unable to change his name on application page so I didn’t proceed further.

Since, I’m axis bank customer I visited nearby branch to apply it from there, but unfortunately as informed by our fellow members, they said only can be applied via Airtel Thanks app!

After that a random day got a call from Axis bank executive he told me to take Indian Oil card LTF I denied instead I requested him for Airtel Card, he said I will try. And bingo! It got approved n delivered today. 🙂

@krishna_ I honestly doubt what you’re doing to get everything for free.

Apart from that, I agree with @Nikhilize, people are spending so much time and effort trying to save a ₹500 card fee on a card that already gives far more value than the fee itself.

If you really want to flex, try getting Magus / M4B / Infinia / EPM / Times Black / HSBC Travel as LTF and share your (@krishna_ ) LTF journey.

When a card(especially low AF/JF ones) already gives way more value than its fee, folks still go on a marathon to convert it to LTF. And the funniest part? Banks usually reverse the fee with a simple email.

Because of these trivial demands, cards get unnecessary attention and end up getting devalued sooner.
Yupp, I agree. Also, it's evident from past that bank's usually launch a lucrative card, distribute it and devalues within a yr or two. And then we reshuffle our portfolio with another set of cards. So it doesn't make sense to fight for this card making LTF.

It's already a loss making deal for airtel/axis, if not why don't JIO have launched their credit card in partnership with any bank?

It's just a matter of time after which this will also get devalued, and we will back to standard 5% CB.

I tried earlier multiple times in different manner to get the card converted to LTF even with nodal, pno, m.d level with this same welcome letter. Had a long conversation with senior management, retention team. Everyone told there is no such option for the conversion. They asked you for the personal details of welcome letter to investigate only. Don't get much hope. No one gets the card converted to LTF as of now. If you will get it . Let us know
Correct that's what I am saying they don't need welcome Letter but they need only customer details who got it lifetime free. If the person who got it lifetime can share his number then would be giving it lifetime free either cancelling existing or converting existing to lifetime free.

You kept doubting but I will not share details how I get but I can give you hint that I directly get it from brands.

I have my innovative ways to do everything with which I am able to do things which usually doesn't happen like before mobile was developed no think it can exist.

If no one able to make any credit card lifetime free then it doesn't mean I won't be able to

Did u think that anyone in this community share you their personal details like mob no, mail id?

Try threatening Axis Bank to close it if not converted to Lifetime free. It will work or not unknown.

Best option is to provide Axis Bank, mobile number of the person who got it lifetime free as Axis Bank nodal officer send me written email that if I can share mobile number of email of person who got it lifetime free then they will convert Airtel Axis Bank credit card to lifetime free or will send new lifetime free Airtel Axis Bank credit card. Nodal officer send me this email as Axis Bank didn't issue Airtel Axis Bank credit card anyone as lifetime free but as I claimed after checking here that someone got it lifetime free so if I proved then I will get it lifetime free anyhow. Nodal officer also assured me in email that the person who got Airtel Axis Bank credit card lifetime free will not be affected and his card will remain lifetime free.

I approached nodal officer via PM office
If you don't mind can you share the nodal mail reply here by hiding your details?
